The Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Abba Moro has promised to donate a brand new car as the star price to the winner of next Miss Ogbadibo Beauty Pageant.
Sen Moro made the promise on Saturday, 29th December, 2019 while addressing the mammoth crowd that graced the final day of the just concluded Ogbadibo Cultural Festival in Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Represented by Mr Christopher Abah, Comr Moro said as the representative of the people of Benue South at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, he would always support any effort capable of ameliorating the plight of youths in all the local government areas and transforming them to self reliant ones.
Sen Moro also thanked the organisers of the festival for their consistency and resilience, saying such festival would bring cultural harmony among different sociocultural and ethnic groups in Zone C particularly and the entire Benue State.
Speaking earlier, the Caretaker Chairman of Ogbadibo Local Government Area, Hon Prince Samuel Onuh thanked Sen Abba Moro and other guests that attended the occasion, saying he would support the organisers of the elaborate cultural carnival so that next year edition would be better.
Among those who attended the occasion personally or in representative capacities were; the political leader of Ogbadibo, Chris Adaba Abah(Mad Lion), the immediate past State Assembly member for Ogbadibo State Constituency, Hon Joseph Ojobo, the Coordinator of the National Assembly New Media, Yemi Itodo and others too numerous to mention.
