Senator Abba Moro welcomes PDP delegates to Abuja
Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, has welcomed delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) arriving in Abuja for the party’s 2026 National Convention.
Moro, who represents Benue South Senatorial District, extended the welcome in a statement issued on Sunday through his Media Adviser, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John.
The convention is scheduled to hold on Sunday and Monday, March 29 and 30, at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
The Senate Minority Leader congratulated members of the party and expressed confidence that the PDP would emerge stronger after the convention, particularly as preparations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He also assured delegates of a smooth and hitch-free exercise, emphasizing the resilience of the party.
According to Moro, the PDP remains united and committed to strengthening its structures, adding that the convention would further consolidate the party’s position.
He wished all delegates a pleasant stay in the Federal Capital Territory.
