The Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, congratulates the newly sworn-in local government chairmen in Benue State.
Governor Samuel Ortom, on Wednesday, sworn-in the 23 elected council chairmen in the state and urged them to carry everyone along in the administration of their respective Local Government Areas.
Senator Moro charges the new council bosses to create policies and programmes that would impact positively on the socio-economic well-being of the people at the grassroots.
He urges the Chairmen to also place high premium on peace and security as well as the prosperity of their people.
The Senator enjoins the new Chairmen to equally pay special attention to the most vulnerable, especially the aged, women and children.
He charges them to work closely with the traditional institutions, grassroots organisations, youth groups, vigilante groups and security agents to ensure peace and security in their communities.
Senator Moro assures the Council Chairmen of his maximum support for effective administration.
