A former Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has mocked the people of Benue over the ongoing 2020 Benue Youths Summit.
IDOMA VOICE reports that controversy has been trailing the ongoing summit, which many have described as a political rally organized by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in the state.
Report said most of the delegates at the summit, which would end today are support and hirelings of the PDP.
A picture of some of the delegate cropped up online with many of them believed to be in their 50s.
Reacting, however, Senator Sani, who is about 53 years, sarcastically said he’s also a youths.
He tweeted, “Congratulations for the 2020 Benue Youth Summit; I’m a youth like you.”
