Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has expressed confidence that the team will bounce back stronger following their 3-0 defeat to AS Roma.
The Zebrette suffered a heavy loss at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, marking the first time this season that Okoye has conceded three goals in a league match.
The Nigerian international emphasized the importance of quickly moving past the defeat and focusing on future matches.
“We started the season well, but today was a difficult match. We played against a great team,” he told the club’s official website.
“Today we lacked a bit of movement and communication, but now we immediately focus on the Coppa Italia and Inter on Saturday.
“We are disappointed but we must immediately look forward, Salernitana and Inter are two great opportunities, we must stay focused”.
