Shallipopi leaves Dapper music record label, launches Plutomania records

Nigerian artist Shallipopi has officially parted ways with the Dapper Music record label, which played a significant role in his rise to fame in 2023.

Rumors of the split had circulated earlier, and recent updates on Shallipopi’s social media pages show that he has removed Dapper Music’s name from his bio and unfollowed the label’s boss, which seem to confirm the separation.

This move comes shortly after Shallipopi launched his own label, Plutomania Records, with Zerry DL and Tega Boi as its flagship artists.

Notably, the split follows just two months after fellow artist Seyi Vibez also ended his partnership with Dapper Music.
