Shamsuddeen Malumfashi, a Senior Special Assistant on Islamic Education to Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, lost his life in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon near the Rigachikun area in Kaduna State. He was laid to rest at a cemetery behind Kwandala General Hospital in Malumfashi town.
Survived by his father, Abubakar Yusuf, and mother, Jamila, as well as three wives and four children, the untimely demise of Malumfashi has left the community grieving.
Governor Radda, accompanied by notable figures including Aminu Ibrahim, the representative of Malumfashi Constituency in the Katsina State House of Assembly, Bello Kagara, Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, and several personal aides, attended the funeral prayer and interment to pay their respects. The governor and his delegation were warmly welcomed at the family residence of the deceased in Layin Yan Bori, Malumfashi, by Galadiman Katsina, District Head of Malumfashi, Sadik Mahuta, and District Head of Mahuta, Bello Yan Mama. The father of the deceased and the Chairman of Malumfashi Local Government Area, Maharazu Dayi, were also present to receive the governor.
