Shehu Sani charges Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, others to contest for NFF election

Famous politician and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has called on retired Super Eagles stars to contest the NFF election. According to reports, the election into the board of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is expected to hold take place in September and many candidates have commenced moves to take over from the incumbent president, Amaju Pinnick whose second term tenure is ending soon.

Pro-democracy campaigner and former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani took to his verified Twitter handle to challenge retired Super Eagles stars to step up and take the mantle of football administration. Shehu Sani charged Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo and others to emulate Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba.

Samuel Eto’o was elected President of the Cameroon Football Federation and Senator Shehu Sani has told the former Super Eagles players to follow the footstep of their fellow African football legend.
