Shehu Sani reacts to Oshoala’s shirtless celebration

A former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has advised the public not to dwell too much on Asisat Oshoala’s shirtless celebration during the Super Falcons’ stunning victory against Australia at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup .

Asisat Oshoala, who plays for Barcelona, made a remarkable contribution to the team as a second-half substitute, scoring a crucial goal from a tight angle to give the Super Falcons a 3-1 lead. However, her exuberant celebration, where she removed her jersey and ran to the sideline to celebrate with her teammates, earned her a yellow card.

Sani took to social media to share his perspective, urging people to appreciate Oshoala’s exceptional performance and that of her fellow Falcons rather than focusing excessively on the celebratory incident.

The shirtless celebration sparked discussions on social media, with some raising questions about her faith and morality.
