Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has addressed one of the wildest rumors he’s encountered online.
The ‘Calm Down’ star revealed that the most outrageous claim about him is being labeled a “devil worshiper.”
During an appearance on the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast, the host asked, “What’s the craziest, untrue thing you’ve seen online about yourself?”
Rema laughed and responded, “They say I worship the devil. It’s crazy. I didn’t bother responding because it’s not worth my time.”
He clarified that the symbols used in his art represent Edo culture, not anything satanic.
Rema also discussed his 2020 collaboration with Canadian superstar Drake on the track ‘Mention Me,’ which was leaked. He expressed excitement about working with Drake, saying, “I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake. I believe we can create something huge if we take our time.”
