Singer Yemi Alade speaks on being depressed

After all the heartbreaks from “Johnny”, singer Yemi Alade, sure knows what it feels like to be depressed.

The self-acclaimed Mama Africa recently shared her thoughts on one of the causes of depression.

Taking to mini-blog app, Twitter, she wrote; ” Depression comes from thinking about what you don’t have and what is wrong with the world!

Let’s focus on what we have more please.”

She later deleted the tweet from her page due to the contrasting opinions it elicited.

Apart from her rivalry with her co-queen of afrobeats, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade is also the target of many social media controversies, raging from being dragged for her lyrics, way of dressing et al.

Recently, the romour of her being romantically linked to Patoranking, sparked a debate in some social media quarters on weather she is good enough for the “Abule” crooners.
