Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has voiced his concerns about the lack of trust in the country’s government.
The artist lamented that many Nigerians now rely on activists like VeryDarkMan (VDM) to seek justice and assistance, bypassing government institutions.
Taking to his X handle, Skales wrote: “It’s crazy what is going on in Nigeria… imagine where the citizens cannot run to the government but to a fellow citizen like VDM for help… smh!! God bless & protect him tho.”
His statement highlights the growing frustration among citizens over governance and the rising influence of activists in addressing public grievances.
