A Nigerian comedian known as Churchill reportedly lost his life during the filming of a stunt for one of his skits. A video circulating online captured the tragic moment when Churchill attempted to touch a basketball net but fell, striking his head on the ground.
Eyewitnesses quickly rushed Churchill to the hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. A fellow Nasarawa State University alumna, identified as #LadyResa on Instagram, disclosed in a conversation with PUNCH Online that Churchill, her former schoolmate, was confined to bed with a neck collar after the incident but couldn’t survive due to internal injuries.
According to her, Churchill passed away the previous Sunday. The online community, including friends and fans, expressed their grief on various platforms, with heartfelt messages mourning the loss of the talented skit maker.
Friends of the late skit maker and Netizens have continued to mourn him on the online platform X.
