Snoop Dogg returns to smoking after a brief quit

Merely four days after proclaiming his decision to quit smoking publicly, American hip-hop icon Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., widely known as Snoop Dogg, has clarified that the “smoking” he relinquished was not marijuana but rather the use of a smoky room warmer.

In an advertisement video posted on his X handle on Monday, Snoop Dogg stated that he was “going smokeless with Solo Stove.”

In the video, the rapper could be heard saying; “I have an announcement, I’m giving up smoke. I know what you’re thinking, ‘Snoop, smoke has carried your whole fame.’ But I’m done with it. I’m going smokeless. Solo Stove fixed fire. They take out the smoke. Clever! [Laughs]”

His initial announcement, where he claimed to be quitting smoking “after much consideration and conversation” with his family, led fans and colleagues to believe he was referring to his long-standing addiction to marijuana.

In response, his colleague Meek Mill declared his intention to follow suit by relocating to Dubai to quit smoking, citing a diagnosis of emphysema.
