Soldier who ordered killing of 22 year-old Micah Isaiah in Imo confesses in Makurdi

Ifeanyi Nwaiwu of Nigerian Army School of Military Engineer, Makurdi, Benue state, said that he ordered that Micah Isiah be killed after he received N200,000 as his share from the money they collected from the 22- year -old undergraduate of Federal University Technology, Owerri, Imo state.

He said “ I ordered he be killed because I sensed that he will dent my image as a soldier if he walked away alive.

“This is my first time of indulging In kidnapping. At first, they told me to escort them somewhere but when I realized that it was kidnapping, I instructed that he be killed because he may expose us If we allowed him to go.

“ I regret what I have done. I am from Ogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state. I am currently serving at the Nigerian Army School of Military Engineer, Makurdi, Benue state.
