Soldiers assault lady for refusing to “greet them” in Lagos (video)

Men of the Nigerian army assaulted a young lady on Wednesday, November 25, for refusing to greet.

The incident happened in Sangotedo, at the Eti OSA local government area of Lagos at about 5 pm.

“I did absolutely nothing to provoke these people,” the victim identified as Olaide said.

Olaide maintained that she was just passing by when the men dressed in military uniform chased and flogged her with a whip known as ‘koboko.”

Her cries caught the attention of members of the neighbourhood who accosted the men.

This happened to me around 5pm .I did nothing to these people ..I didn’t even look at them until one of them flogged me ! I was walking and this guy insulted me ran after me and then flogged me with koboko! When people confronted them they said it’s cuz I didn’t greet them
