Unknown gunmen have invaded the house of Solomon Wombo, an APC house of Representative candidate in the just concluded 2019 general elections.
The incident which took place at the late hours of Friday 5th April 2019 took some neighbours by surprise as they peeped through some holes in the fence to see for themselves what was transpiring.
Some eyewitnesses who would not want their names mentioned, said they cut the barb wires, tied the gateman before gaining entrance into the building.
According to the eyewitnesses the hoodlums numbering six, were all in possession of AK 47 Rifles at strategic locations in the house, with the sole aim of attacking anyone on sight, but unknown to them Prince Solomon Wombo had earlier travelled to his village in katsina-Ala local government area the same day for some engagements.
Another look at the residence shows that the unknown gunmen who could not have access to the house through the security doors had to forcefully open the windows and cut the burglary proves of the masters bedroom where they gained entrance to the house.
A visit to the house also shows that the hoodlums also broke into other rooms in the house but could not see anyone, which prompted them to open boxes, cabinets, wardrobes and drawers, spill the contents on the floor without carrying anything away.
Electronic gadgets such as Laptops, Ipads, desktop computers among several others in the house were also left intact.
Musical sets and brand new clothing materials were also left untouched.
This act according to some eyewitnesses is basically to eliminate Prince Solomon Wombo, as ordinary criminals usually come to steal and destroy.
Investigation into the matter has since commenced by security operatives, with the sole aim of unravelling those behind the nefarious act and bringing them to book.
