Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has praised Dunamis International Gospel Centre for conducting an orderly crusade at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka. Impressed by the event’s organization, he announced a refund of the venue fee and invited the church to hold future programs at the venue.
Soludo also revealed plans for a major facelift at Ekwueme Square, including enhanced lighting and beautification, aligning with Anambra’s slogan, “The Light of the Nation.”
The governor urged the church, led by Pastor Paul Enenche, to intensify prayers for Anambra’s spiritual cleansing and support efforts to rebuild moral values. He emphasized that Anambra’s youth should be redirected towards productivity, distancing them from crime, fraud, and drug-related activities.
“Our people are known for hard work and innovation, not for kidnapping, internet fraud, or drug trafficking. We must guide our youth toward a positive impact,” Soludo stated.
During his sermon, Pastor Enenche preached on “Serving the God of the Blessing,” highlighting biblical references to God’s promises of prosperity for those who live in obedience and service.
The crusade, attended by thousands, featured worship, testimonies of healing, and prophetic declarations. Many worshippers testified to experiencing breakthroughs and miracles.
As the event continues, Pastor Enenche is set to lead prayers for individuals, families, and Anambra State, declaring God’s blessings upon its people.
