The national assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Makurdi woud today Sept 4 deliver its judgment on the case brought before it by Steve Lawani of the All Progressives Congress over the outcome of the Benue South election.
Lawani had approached the court on the ground that the exercise was allegedly marred with massive rigging and irregularities.
He is calling for a rerun.
After hearing from both parties, the court is set to give it’s verdict at the High Court 8, Makurdi.
IDOMA VOICE reports that supporters of both politicians were sighted at the court entrance as early as 7am.
