Gernot Rohr, the technical adviser of the Nigerian senior national team, Super Eagles, has finally reacted to the decision of the team’s captain, Ahmed Musa to join Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars.
According to the coach, he is pleased with his decision.
“I am very happy for Ahmed Musa to be able to play again with his old club of Kano Pillars,” Daily Post quoted Rohr as saying.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that Musa who has been without a club since he left Saudi Arabia Professional League side Al Shabab in October, made a return to his boyhood club, Kano Pillars, after failing to secure a West Bromwich Albion deal during the last transfer window.
The deal was said to have failed due to to his wage demand.
Musa who signed a short-term deal with the NPFL side, will now remain with Pillars until he is able to secure offers from Europe.
