Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye joins Udinese
Serie A side Udinese has finalized the acquisition of Maduka Okoye, sealing a four-year contract with the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper.
Okoye, who previously played for Sky Bet Championship club Watford, has made the transition to Udinese.
At his new club, the 23-year-old athlete will sport jersey number 40.
During his year-long tenure at Vicarage Road, Okoye participated in two matches for Watford.
His tenure at Eredivisie outfit Sparta Rotterdam was marked by challenges, and the former Fortuna Dusseldorf goalkeeper endured a challenging period, including an injury toward the end of the season.
Leading up to his transfer, Okoye was absent from Watford’s matchday roster this season.
At the Dacia Arena, he will share the field with fellow Nigerians Isaac Success and Kingsley Ehizibue.
