Super Falcons’ Alozie reveals her Super Eagles crush

Michelle Alozie, a prominent defender for the Super Falcons, has openly confessed to having a crush on Alex Iwobi, one of the standout players within the Super Eagles squad.

In a virtual interview shared on Twitter, Alozie candidly disclosed her admiration for Iwobi, revealing her choice when questioned about her preferences among the talented and good-looking athletes within the Nigerian national teams.

The engaging dialogue took a playful turn as one of the interviewers posed the intriguing question, highlighting the captivating presence of both male and female players in the national setup. When asked if she had a crush among the Super Eagles’ ranks, Alozie promptly responded, “I’d say Iwobi.”

Alozie, aged 26, rose to prominence during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand. Her stellar performances on the pitch garnered attention, marking her as a key figure in Nigeria’s football landscape.

Her contributions were instrumental in Nigeria’s campaign as they advanced through the tournament, participating in all four matches. The journey ultimately came to an end in the Round of 16, where the Super Falcons faced England and were unfortunate to be eliminated in a penalty shootout.

Alozie’s spirited presence on the field showcased her commitment to the game, even as she faced the disappointment of missing her penalty kick in the crucial shootout – a testament to her unwavering dedication and determination.
