Super Falcons’ Echegini sets to join Juventus

Jennifer Echegini, a prominent midfielder for the Super Falcons, is poised to make a significant move to Juventus Ladies.

Reports from transfer expert Giova Albanese indicate that Echegini is currently in Turin, engaged in negotiations to finalize her transition to the Bianconeri.

The 22-year-old talent will be making the switch from her American club, Florida State Seminoles, to join the ranks of Juventus.

Echegini notably participated in three matches for the Super Falcons during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand.

Having been born in London, England, the upcoming season will present Echegini with her debut opportunity to partake in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

In a historic feat, she is set to become the first Nigerian player to proudly wear the Juventus Ladies jersey.

The renowned Turin-based club, boasting five league titles, seeks to solidify their standing after finishing as runners-up to AS Roma in the previous season.
