Super Falcons to face Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana in WAFCON 2024

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been placed in Group B for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they will compete against Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana.

The tournament, set to begin in July 2025 in Morocco, offers another chance for Nigeria’s senior women’s national team to strengthen their dominance on the continent as they aim for a record-extending 10th title.

As tournament hosts, Morocco will head Group A, which also includes Zambia, Senegal, and DR Congo.

Defending champions South Africa have been drawn into Group C, where they will face Ghana, Mali, and Tanzania.

The competition will highlight the best of Africa’s women footballers and is scheduled to conclude on July 26, 2025.
