  1. Driving: With a valid driver’s license and language proficiency, you can work as a transit driver, earning between $73,000 to $100,000 annually. Having your own car can be beneficial for navigating the city.

  2. Construction: The construction industry contributes significantly to the Canadian economy. Working in construction as a labourer, electrician, or carpenter can yield around $30,000 to $50,000 per year.

  3. Agriculture: Agriculture is vital for food production, and you don’t need a university degree to work in this sector. Farmers in Canada make between $30,000 to $60,000 annually.

  4. Hospitality: Fluency in at least one language other than English is essential for working in the hospitality industry. You can find roles in the kitchen or as a steward with an average salary of around $25,000.

  5. Online Business: The internet offers various opportunities to earn a living online. Engaging in freelance work, affiliate marketing, blogging, YouTube, or Amazon KDP can generate a reasonable income. The key requirement for online business is proficiency in reading and writing plain English.
