The Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Health, Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora, Tuesday said the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, will investigate the allegations made by the suspected coronavirus index case in Benue State, Susan Okpe.
WWW.IDOMAVOICE.COM recalls that the lady had claimed she was bundled like a common criminal and thrown into an isolation centre in Benue after the state government claimed she was tested positive for coronavirus without her seeing the result.
Due to her outcry, she was transferred to Abuja on the order of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Umar Farouq.
The lady has so far spent 20 days in the isolation centre without her developing any COVID-19 symptoms.
The minister also confirmed that her body viral load is load, which confirms that she might be negative.

The lady had insisted in a new video that she has no coronavirus, and therefore, called on the Nigerian government to free her.
When asked on Tuesday to react to the lady’s claim, Mamora said the NCDC would have to investigate circumstances surrounding her case.
“If she’s questioning that, of course NCDC will look into that and investigate to give details of what really happened,” he told Channels TV Sunrise Daily.
