Suspected cultists hack young man to death in Makurdi (Photo)

A group of suspected cultists on Wednesday November 7th, 2018 murdered a young man identified as “Movement”(Real name withheld) along Dunamis street Makurdi, Benue state.

IDOMAVOICE gathered that the young who is a 400 Level student of Theater Art at the Benue State University was attacked by a group of cultists numbering up to ten (10) immediately after cutting his hair in a salon down the street.

An eyewitness disclosed to our reporter that “he was repeatedly shot at but kept moving, trying to outrun his killers right from a barbing salon, but they brought out axes and starting cutting him and that was when he started bleeding and running out of strength.

“He tried to escape but was over powered and was hit in the face with a concrete block that was picked up by his attackers around the street there.

“The most surprising part was when they started the fight with him initially, an Army Hilux was drove passed them but didn’t stop to find out what was going on.

“After he stopped breathing, the police came with their vehicles and sirens to carry him to the mogue.” He added.
