How farmer cut off his neighbour’s head because of land in Benue – Police

The Benue State police have confirmed the story of a man who beheaded his neighbour in Utonkon, Ado LGA of the State.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspect, simply identified as Raphael Agazi and the victim, Ajah Asim have been waring over a piece of land.
War broke out between the two farmers on Monday in the farm as the suspect cut off his victim’s head, buried his half body in a grave in the disputed land and fled.

Nemesis caught up with him while trying to escape with the man’s head inside a sack bag.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Otukpo Police area Command, along Enugu road where he is facing interrogation.

Residents of the community have literaily turned the police station to Mecca.
When IDOMA VOICED contacted the Police PRO in the state, he confirmed the luciferious incident, adding that investigation is ongoing.

“Yes, the suspect is currently in the Otukpo area command where he is facing interrogation. He is a native of Oju while his victim hailed from Ado LGA, both Igede speaking part of the state,” he said.
