Tanker explosion in Ibadan destroys five vehicles

Chaos erupted in the Iyana-Ajia area of Egbeda, Ibadan, when a petrol tanker exploded, engulfing two articulated trucks, an 18-seater bus, two commercial cabs, and three motorcycles in flames.

At the time of this report, the tanker was still ablaze, with the affected vehicles reduced to ashes. The explosion occurred along the Ibadan-Ife Expressway, near the Iyana-Ajia bridge under construction.

Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.
