A taxi driver has crushed two policemen to death in Benue State, IDOMA VOICE reports.
The incident happened on Monday in Akpagher Mbatiav in Gboko area of the state.
An eyewitness told our reporter on phone that tragedy struck after the driver, who was heading to Gboko town lost control of his vehicle and rammed into policemen on duty along the road.Two of the policemen were crushed to death on the spot.
When contacted, the Benue State Police PPRO, ASP Yamu, who confirmed the development, said the taxi driver is now in the police custody.
