Taylor names Messi as best player in the World after Atlanta clash

Inter Miami star Robert Taylor hails Lionel Messi as the world’s best footballer following their 4-0 League Cup win against Atlanta United at the DRV PNK Stadium on Tuesday.

Messi, who scored a last-minute winner in his first game for the American side against Cruz Azul, continued his impressive form, netting a brace within 22 minutes in the match against Atlanta United.

Taylor, who also scored twice in the game, praised Messi’s impact on the team, stating, “I think we found spaces in behind pretty well. We had good balance whenever Leo had the ball, creating a lot of space for everyone else.”

“He can truly do everything. He makes the right decision 100 percent of the time. Most of the time, he finds a teammate in space. He’s the best player in the world, and this is what he does regularly. It’s a dream come true to play with him.”
