Taylor Swift overtakes Rihanna as world’s richest female musician

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has officially become the richest female musician in the world.

According to Forbes, Swift’s net worth has soared due to the success of her Eras Tour, which has contributed to her status as a billionaire since late last year. She is the first female artist to reach billionaire status purely from her music and performances.

With this recent surge in wealth, Swift has overtaken Barbadian singer and entrepreneur Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

Swift holds the record for the highest-grossing tour in history, generating over $2 billion from 125 shows, averaging approximately $16 million per performance.

Her current net worth is estimated at $1.6 billion. In addition to her touring success, her wealth includes a catalog valued at $600 million, an additional $600 million in royalties, and around $125 million in real estate from her various properties across the United States, according to Forbes.
