Family and friends find themselves in mourning following the untimely demise of Benard Peter Agada, a recently married man.
The late Benard Peter Agada, along with his wife, Ehi Gift Itodo, had celebrated their union in marriage on the 30th of December in Otukpa, Benue State.
The tragic news was shared by the late Agada’s friend, Comr Agada Joseph, who took to Facebook to express his sorrow. In a poignant post, he stated, “I don’t know what to say. This one too much, Benaldinho Agada you promised to call me back bro. Your wedding was 30th December 2023 not even up to a month. You promised to call me back bro. Ben, your big Joe is waiting for the call you promised, for the first time you disappointed me with a rude shock. I won’t go into details about our last conversation about your wedding few weeks ago when you called me, and I won’t write RIP Ben.”
Also reacting, SA the to Deputy Speaker on Media, Yemi Itodo, described the deceased as loyal and humbler.
He wrote, “Bernard Agada was my student at St. John’s College Otukpa. I taught him during his senior classes around 2002 to 2004. He was such a humble and loyal guy. A vibrant young man given to daily hustles, hard working and personal development.
“The only reason I couldn’t attend his wedding on 30th December 2023 was cos I didn’t travel to Benue during Christmas as I was held up somewhere.
“I learnt about his death last night and it has really devastated me. For someone to struggle and marry and within 2 weeks that he moved to the city with his one week old bride, he met his untimely death?
“This is a great loss to the wife, the family, Otukpa and in fact, to all struggling young men out there.”
