The remains of the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, along with those of his wife and son, have returned to Nigeria.
Their bodies arrived at the Port Harcourt International Airport from the United States on Friday.
The funeral service for the three will take place on Saturday in Isiokpo, Wigwe’s hometown, located in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State.
Wigwe, accompanied by his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash at the border of Nevada and California in the US last month.
Following their untimely passing, an outpouring of tributes continues to honor Wigwe, as friends and well-wishers reflect on his life and accomplishments.
