A former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has called on the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, to tell Nigerians where human corpses litter the savanna and the Sahel on a daily basis.
According to Sani, Lawan is not ready to voice out while blood continues to flood in his region.
Lawan represents Yobe State at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
In a tweet, Sani claimed, “The Senate President should also have the courage to tell some home truths to the Governors of his region, where human corpses litter the savanna and the Sahel on a daily basis.”
Meanwhile, At least seven Nigerian soldiers were killed in an ambush by Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state, reports last Wednesday.
According to the local press, troops with the 153rd Task Force Battalion in the Marte local government area were caught by surprise when the insurgents attacked them.
An armed clash erupted, during which seven soldiers died and many others were wounded.
