The efforts of the controversial Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho, in ejecting criminal elements within the Fulani herdsmen from Yoruba land, has gotten a major boost.
This is as some supporters of the Yoruba freedom fighter set up a Gofundme page for the purpose of raising £100,000 (N51.8m) for him to buy buses and other necessary items to implement his project of ridding the South-West of killer herdsmen.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Sunday had issued a seven-day ultimatum to Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa area of Oyo state, blaming them for being responsible for the incessant killings, kidnapping and other insecurity in the state.
Igboho also carried similar threat in Ogun state on Monday.
The fundraiser, which was initiated by UK-based blogger and activist, Maureen Badejo, garnered £9, 320 (N4.8m) within 15 hours.
