There is currently palpable tension in Benue South Senatorial District as voters await the final declaration of result in the senatorial election held on Saturday.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the election was keenly contested between the Peoples Democratic Party, All Progressives Congress and Labour Party.
The incumbent, Abba Moro is of the PDP, Dan Onjeh is of the APC and Joe Ojobo is of the Labour Party.
Results so far declared from political wards, Abba Moro is leading his opponents with a slim margin while being trailed by Labour Party’s Ojobo.
INEC will announce the final result this morning in Otukpo.
