Tension as assailants suspected to be herdsmen on Tuesday ambushed and killed two persons on the Dundu-Maiyanga road, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The victims, identified as Raphael Bawa and Mabo Agah, were said to be returning from a neighbouring village around 8.30pm when they were ambushed by their attackers.
It was gathered that the assailants trailed the duo to the Dundu-Maiyanga road before opening fire on their souls.
One of the victims, Agah, 40, was rushed to the hospital where he passed away this morning.
