Four suspected terrorists have been killed by men of the Katsina State Police Command during a failed attack in the Malumfashi and Danmusa local government areas of the state.
The camps of the terrorist in different locations were also said to have been raided while 131 cows and 55 sheep earlier rustled by the terrorists were recovered.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah, said the operation followed a distress call received by the command that Yanmama village was being attacked by terrorists.
Isah said, “The team succeeded in blocking the terrorists at Kanyar-Nogora, Kukar-Sheka village, Kankara Local Government Area and had a fierce gun duel with them. The team successfully repelled the terrorists. Three terrorists were neutralised and seven cows were recovered. “
He added that on March 5, 2022, men of the command carried out sting operations and burnt down suspected terrorists’ camps at Yellawa, Hakin-Biri, in the Danmusa Local Government Area, and at Na-Iraqi in Safana Local Government Area.
