Suspected kidnappers, on Sunday, killed two persons and kidnapped three others in Katsina State.
Katsina is the homestate of President Muhammadu Buhari.
A resident in the area who raised the alarm over the incident, Mallam Yusufu Musa, said the bandits were operating from the forest area of Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State, daily post reports.
The attack comes a few days after bandits attacked and kidnapped a businessman in the same area. He was killed despite a N4 million ransom in the Kafur LGA.
However, the joint team of the Nigerian Army and the Police could not save the kidnapped victims even as they engaged the terrorists in a gun duel.
