Terungwa Stephenie: Why I killed Abuja corper – Suspect, Jennifer Tsembe,

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command on Monday said it paraded the alleged killers of Abuja missing Corps member along with 3 notorious kidnappers and bandits said to have been terrorizing innocent citizens in Niger state as well as boarding communities in Abuja at the FCT Command Headquarters.

Among the suspects paraded was a 26 – year – old, female, jealous lover named Jennifer Tsembe, who criminally conspired with one Monday Simon popularly called Black, 36, and Solomon Abu, 35 and killed one Terungwa Stephenie, age 26 Corper who resides in City homes estate Lokogoma.

Ms. Tsembe who confessed to the crime, told Daily asset that she killed the victim to separate her from her estranged lover, Edward Achadu so she could have him all to herself.
She said she dropped the victim’s son at Holy Trinity Catholic Church a day after the incident.

Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Babaji Sunday also said” On the 12th of May 2022 at about 10:00 hours in a streak of operations targeted at fishing out, sweeping, and dislodging bandits, Kidnappers, and miscreants from their hideouts, at the suburbs of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) the Command’s’ Anti-kidnapping unit in a concerted effort with the local hunters, Destiny hunters, and Vigilantes, Stormed a kidnappers camp in Zago Forest, Niger state bothering FCT via Adagba Village Abuja.

He explained that “upon sighting the gallant approach of the combined team, the miscreants engaged the Team in a gun duel. Being overpowered, two suspected Bandits namely Rabiu Umar (a.k.a Mallam) an 18 year-old male, and Abdulmuni Haruna (a.k.a Alibaba) a 20 years old male were arrested, while many escaped the camp with bullet wounds.“The above Operation followed intelligence gathered from a Sting Operation earlier executed on the 8th of March 2022 at about 07:00hrs where the combined Team stormed the forest in pursuit of Bandits sighted along Magaji Forest bordering Abuja/Niger state.
“The team defeated the miscreants in a gun duel using a superior gunfire leading to the arrest of one Ibrahim Usman (a.k.a Babuba) a 27 years old male of the kwali Area council of the FCT, while others escaped with various degrees of gun wounds.

” The Team continued their onward crusade, combing the forests aggressively. On the 13th May 2022, at about 8:00hrs the team Stormed a Bandit camp at Mayaki forest via Adagba Village, Yaba district Abaji Area Council of the FCT, overpowering the Bandits with superior firepower”, he explained.

CP Sunday, said several dangerous weapons such as 1 GPMG with 101 MG rounds, 1 AK 49 riffle with breach no:165151, 3 AK 47 Riffles with breeches No. 5662, 088425-89, and NK 6172 with 13 Magazines containing thirty rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, and 1 locally made pistol were recovered from the suspects.

Babaji noted that the serene atmosphere currently enjoyed by residents was a result of strategic and redesigning of the security architecture of the Territory to match up and surpass the dynamics of crime.
