Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor, Mr Terver Akase has commended Nigeria’s female national team striker, Francisca Ordega for always encouraging up and coming female footballers back home to grow.
Akase made the commendation today in his office at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi when Miss Ordega who plays for top division side Levante UD in the Spanish female league Laliga paid him a courtesy visit.
Mr Akase stated that Ordega has been consistent in the national team the Super Falcons and all the clubs where she has played, yet, she has remained humble and respectful, urging younger footballers and the youths in general to follow her footsteps.During the visit, Miss Ordega presented a pair of Levante Jerseys to Mr Akase whom she described as a pillar of the youth.
The Falcons striker stated that the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary is known for supporting initiatives of young people, irrespective of where they come from and encouraged him to keep up the good work.
