Terwase Akwaza: How Benue leaders welcomed most wanted terrorist, Gana

Benue leaders on Teusday, welcome one of their sons, Terwase Akwaza, who has been declared wanted for terrorist activities.

Recall that in 2017, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State had stated that he will not relent until he apprehends suspected notorious criminal and his estranged ally, Terwase ‘Ghana’ Akwaza.

This was after he narrowly escaped arrest by men of the Joint Security Task Force.

After almost four years of running, Gana, as he’s fondly called reported himself.

IDOMA VOICE reported that Gana surrendered for the amnesty programme in Katsina Ala township stadium in Katsina-Ala local government area of Benue north senatorial zone on Tuesday.

In one of the pictures obtained by our reporter, Gana could be seen greeting some of the beaded traditional rulers amid broad smiles.

In another picture, the wanted terrorist could be seen sweating before one of Benue leaders who was given him a pat on the back.
