Shocking revelations have continued to emerge over the circumstances surrounding the death of Benue State number one terrorist, Terwase Akwaza, otherwise known as Gana.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Gana was gunned down last week during a gun battle with men of the Operation Ayem Akpatuma III while going to Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
Before his death, Gana was declared wanted by the Benue State Government over issues bordering on terrorism, kidnapping and killing of innocent people.
However, after running for almost four years, Gana finally showed himself to embrace the amnesty of the state government but met his waterloo.
A week after his brutal murder, a top-ranking commander of his militia gang has made some chilling revelations about the late gunman.
Gana’s gang member, who simply gave his name Major Aondehemba said that the battle to get justice over the death of the militia leader would continue.
He avowed, “the army will pay for it.”
Major Aondehemba told The Nation that it was difficult for security operatives to get Gana because he had protective powers he got from the grave of his 12-year-old daughter.
He also revealed that Gana trained over 200 fighters spread across Benue North East and some parts of Taraba State.
Major further disclosed that their late boss had supernatural powers derived from his 12 years old daughter that he buried alive 11 years ago in his village in Gbitse.
“That is why he was very powerful, and those powers are still intact because he gave them to someone very close to him. The military can’t contend Gana’s forces. Gana was in his village in Gbitse when he was declared wanted. The military kept coming. Most times, they will meet him but won’t know. Why didn’t they get him then?”, the militant queried.
