Ex-Presidential aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has stated the cost of the viral three Ferraris billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola gifted his daughters are not up to 1% of his personal wealth.
The popular critic in a tweet he made on Wednesday, September 16, stated that if a person’s daddy paid for their education, then they are no lesser than Femi Otedola.
Reno said that if one’s dad spent 5% of his net worth providing education, he clearly did more than what Otedola pulled off with the fast cars.
“Your dad is not less than @realFemiOtedola because he did not buy you a @Ferrari. The cost of 3 Ferraris is less than 1% of Otedola’s worth. If your dad spent 5% of his net worth educating you, he did more than Otedola. Remember the widow’s mite?,” he tweeted.
Since his tweet was posted, it has gathered various opinions from many as people engaged his post in a very objective way.
Below are some people’s reactions:
@bassiology said: “Fellow Nigerians, one man just bought cars he could afford, others are buying houses, clothes, cars and other things they can afford. It’s all boils down to what is important to you that you can afford. Let’s leave this @ferrari things Jare.”
@Emmanuelchison said: This comparison or example is not right. 1% or 5% both have done well for their children. Only fools will not appreciate their parents but wished they were like others. If you don’t appreciate little from ur parents, when u give ur kids d world, they will not appreciate u.”
@Ag_Qris said: “I showed my mom the 3 @ferrari, and told her she has given me things worth more than that. she prayed I get them for my children. The prayers are worth more than anything in the world.! In turn I told her she will live to see that I get her an expensive car to drive to her farm.”
