Nigerian comedian and filmmaker, Ayo Makun, widely known as AY, has broken his silence following the confirmation of the end of his 16-year marriage by his estranged wife, Mabel.
In a recent Instagram post, Mabel confirmed the shift in their relationship, stating that her vision of a lifelong marriage has taken a “different direction.” She expressed her commitment to moving forward with grace and resilience during this challenging period, urging for privacy and consideration as they both navigate their individual paths.
Reacting to the situation, AY expressed his optimism with a simple yet poignant message on his Instagram page: “This too shall pass.”
Earlier, AY had shared his emotional turmoil, lamenting that his friendship and marriage of 20 years seemed to be slipping from his grasp.
