Thomas Tuchel to replace Lampard as Chelsea’s coach

Reports reaching our deck says former Paris Saint-Germain Manager, Thomas Tuchel, will replace struggling Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard, at the Blues top job later today.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Tuchel is among top football managers being consider for a possible Lampard replacement by billionaire Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.

According to some top sources, the German will sign as new Chelsea manager in the coming hours as Lampard will be officially sacked today.

After three defeats in their last five league games, Chelsea have slipped to ninth in the Premier League, with the Blues now 11 points behind leaders Manchester United at the halfway stage of the season.

As a result, Chelsea now face a battle to qualify for European football next season, with the Blues currently five points behind Liverpool in fourth and three behind sixth-placed Everton, who have two games in hand.
