President Bola Tinubu has designated Ibrahim Gaga as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank, NEXIM.
This announcement was made by Ajuri Ngalale, a spokesperson for the president, in a statement released on Wednesday.
Gaga, a seasoned lawyer, boasts over 25 years of expertise in the banking sector and legal services. Prior to his recent appointment, he held the position of Board Secretary and Legal Adviser at NEXIM Bank.
The President encouraged the newly appointed Executive Director to bring a renewed sense of enthusiasm and diligence to bolster NEXIM’s mission of providing financial support, risk mitigation services, accurate trade and market information, as well as export advisory services to Nigerians. This aligns with the administration’s economic development agenda.
