President Bola Tinubu has officially appointed Dr. Olasupo Olusi as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI) for a four-year term, effective immediately.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
This appointment was made following the voluntary resignation of the former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olukayode Pitan.
Dr. Olusi brings extensive experience to his new role, having served as a World Bank economist and development finance expert for over two decades.
He has also held the position of economic adviser to the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance.
