‘Tinubu is not my President’ – Aisha Yesufu

Rights activist and #BringBackOurGirls co-convener, Aisha Yesufu, emphasizes that President Bola Tinubu is not her elected leader.

Yesufu, who had shown support for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, expressed this sentiment on her social media account after the Supreme Court’s decision in favour of Tinubu.

The apex court, led by Justice John Okoro, affirmed Tinubu’s electoral victory and stated that the petition by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar lacked merit.

Reacting, Yesufu said, “Let me repeat, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not my President.”

Yesufu remains a vocal critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress and has been vocal in her criticism of the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, particularly regarding issues of insecurity.
